New Announcement!

BJ Sports, Southwest Michigan’s leader in lacrosse development, has expanded it’s Bull’s Youth Lacrosse program to include teams at the 5/6 and 7/8 grade level. The already existing kindergarten through 4th grade youth program will now be accompanied by grades 5 through 8.  With the growing insterest in the sport we have decided to expand the Bulls program in an effort to maximize our lacrosse exposure for our customers. The BJ Bulls Youth Lacrosse Program is a highly recognized and respected  and we are thrilled about the age level extension! We look forward to meeting new players and forming the new teams!

Age Brackets 

~Kindergarten

 ~ 1st & 2nd grade

~ 3rd & 4th Grade

~ 5th & 6th Grade

~ 7th & 8th Grade

Kindergarten:

All Participants are required to have a stick. The U7 program will run for 8-10 weeks depending on the weather. There will be 2 practices/game sessions per week. This program is designed to build confidence through stimulating activities and to helps boys and girls explore their interest while building self-esteem.

Price: $75.00

This fee includes: Reversible jersey, games, instruction, team/field equipment and end of season barbeque.

 

1st & 2nd Grade:

Full equipment required for 1st/2nd graders. Lacrosse helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves and stick are required for participation. Program will run for 8-10 weeks depending on weather. There will be 2 practices/games sessions per week.

Price: $125.00

This fee includes: Reversible jersey, games, instruction, team/field equipment and end of season barbeque.

 

3rd – 8th Grade Groups:

Prices:

7th & 8th: $200.00

5th & 6th: $200.00

3rd & 4th Grade: $125.00

These fees include: Games, tournament registration fees, ref fees, team equipment, field usage fees, insurance and administrative fees.

Practices will start the week of March 24, 2013 (weather permitting). Prospective practices will be Monday or Wednesday and Thursdays. The 2013 games schedule is still TBD. Players should plan on 3 practices a week pre-season followed by a mixture of games and practices during active season. Game schedule will start after spring break and be completed June 6th.

We will play teams from Forest Hills, Caledonia, Lowell, Midland and Rockford during our regular season. Our U11- U15 teams will all participate in the end of season tournament at Cranbrook Institute in Bloomfield Hills, MI.

Full regulation lacrosse equipment is required 3rd – 8th Grade
